Influencial Anime and Manga

Has anybody ever felt like trying out whatever the anime was about?
For example people watched Prince of Tennis caused a uproar of people in Japan to play tennis. XD

Hikari no Go , Saki and K-On have caused people to want to experience the enjoyments simliar to the story. I started playing Mahjong like crazy after watching Saki, before i disliked it but now i love it ^^

Any other influencial anime and manga can also cause your fashion sense and personality to change?
Acting more cool looking more Kawaii~ or something. Even trying a hair style or colour to an anime character lol..... Anybody love loved Hitsugaya's hair?

Meitantei Conan (also known as Detective Conan or Case closed) has been quite influential to the ways I think. I have become more observational to my surroundings than before (or maybe it was just me). The good thing was that our first topic for Science was about forensics and were to find who was the burglar. It helped quite a lot like the steps police investigator would take and what kind of questions should be asked .
