Some helpful tips on using this forum

Here are some helpful tips on using this forum:

1. The Chatbox
To join the chatbox, all you have to do is click the 'log in' button in the top right-hand corner of the chatbox, and you will be connected instantly. If you are inactive in the chatbox for too long though, you will be disconnected.

2. Signature
When you join, you can add a signature. To do this, go to profile --> signature; and enter your desired signature. After you've done this, the first time you post, click attach signature to always attach it to your posts. You can also go to profile --> preferences; and click 'yes' for 'always attach my signature.

3. Email
If you are constantly recieving emails from this site, and it annoys the crap out of you, go to profile --> preferences; and change notifications to 'no'. Also, untick the thread you are 'watching'.

4. The points and reputation system
The points and reputaion system has been activated. You get points for posting and starting threads. You lose reputation when people vote negatively on your posts, or gain reputation when people click 'thanks' or vote positively on your posts.
